on participation.
The motor sports industry has a major presence in the town, thanks to Rockingham Racetrack. This £70 million facility is the UK’s fastest motor racing circuit and recently hosted the UK’s first long and short oval racing event – Ovalfest.
Rockingham also offers outstanding conference and meeting facilities as well as vehicle testing days for all of the major car manufacturers.
Corby also has an excellent programme of sports activities linked to the regeneration and growth agenda by a new CSN (Community Sports Network) called ‘Corby Active’, which has already achieved national recognition as an example of best practice.
