Brooke Weston City Technology College is consistently one of the top five highest achieving comprehensive schools in England.
Excellent student care, innovative practice and very high expectations all contribute to outstanding results. In 2008, for the fifth year running, the school has achieved 100% success in the number of students achieving five or more A*-C GCSEs.
Brooke Weston can justifiably claim to be one of the most advanced of any state schools in the use of technology. Wireless laptops, multimedia software packages and interactive whiteboards are regular features of classroom practice as tools for students and teachers alike. The school has excellent sports facilities including floodlit all-weather pitches, catering for cricket, hockey, rugby, football, netball and tennis.
The school offers Master-classes to 250 students from local primary and secondary schools, and has been at the forefront of plans for the new Corby Business Academy which opened in 2008, putting into practice the educational principles and standards laid down at Brooke Weston.
