A wonderful weekend event for all the family is taking place in the Great Park at Rockingham Castle over the weekend of the 25th & 26th September.
This really is an event with something for everyone. From the unique and massively entertaining Sheep Show to Ben Potter’s birds of prey and falconry displays. There will be working dogs and ferrets with John Cavana, The Swords of Chivalry medieval re-enactment village and fighting knights as well as rural demonstrations. Marquees offering arts, crafts, lifestyle and food stands including ‘make and take’ workshops, cookery demonstrations and wine tasting’s. The children’s entertainer, bouncy castle and fair ground (charges apply) will keep your little ones engaged while you sit back and enjoy a well- earned cuppa. Sunday’s Companion Dog Show which is open to all dogs – and their companions too of course. Proceeds from which go to Marie Curie Cancer Care. And you can see how it all looks from the air as there are helicopter rides too!
