Introducing Barb Jungr and Friends

Barb Jungr, Britain's foremost song stylist and internationally respected singer and perfomer brings her friend and collaborator Mari Wilson to The Core at Corby Cube for an intimate evening of music on Saturday 20 November.

Barb is well-known for re-inventing modern American classics. Her acclaimed recent album The Men I Love features stunning new interpretations of the work of great songwriters such Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Leonard Cohen and Paul Simon.

Joining Barb will be singer, songwriter and West End Theatre performer Mari Wilson, who first hit the music scene with her iconic beehive hairstyle in the early 80s and has a celebrated history of hit pop singles including Just What I’ve Always Wanted and an iconic version of Cry Me A River

This intimate performance offers a delightful sneak preview of the upcoming monthly Sunday Sessions: Barb Jungr and Friends, in which music legend Barb will create a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere to introduce some of the best musical entertainment from around the UK. Covering the genres of jazz, traditional music and singer-songwriting, these evenings will also showcase some of the best in new local musical talent.
